Vomitus Argumentum


When the full Moon finds her flesh she turns dark and manic;
the astral light makes her cold- now her beast will come.

I licked and sucked the blood from her lower lips-
we fucked and fought ‘til her beast did come-

And it cursed and spewed endless hate to my face!
I sew my mouth shut to keep the taste of blood on my tongue.

For no reason other than madness,
the beast rants on and on while eating its tail.

I tie a sack about my head to keep from seeing the hideous idiocy
which howls at a dead thing in garbage . . .

Should I always hide in her box?
Just to placate random insanity . . . ?

I remove the sack and stretch wide my mouth-
tearing stitches-
the blood of her womb is on my breath.

She bristles coarse hair and screams
as lice and mites and things of plague
infest her box . . .

I chew off her lips and into her mouth
I eat the teeth from her gums-
I vomit gristle shards of bone down her throat-

When the full Moon finds her flesh,
it will be torn and chewed;
the astral light makes the blood black
and with no mouth, there’s only silence-
so I stroke her hair . . .
